What You Should Keep in Mind While Installing Your Split AC
Summers are up people! There is so much we could expect – ice creams, chilled drinks, the outdoor play and more. But every season has its downsides. For summers it is the harsh boiling sun. To be honest, summer is sweating, people sweat all day because of high temperatures. Along with that comes the array of skin rashes and other problem too.
To fully enjoy the season and not to endure the wrath of the mighty sun, there is just one saviour- Air conditioner. An air conditioner helps drop the room temperature to a bearable level which is totally awesome.
The Air conditioning industry demands innovation with every season whether it is the smart cooling, cruise mode, or energy saving versions etc. All these innovations generally come first in split AC. It’s a better version than the traditional air conditioner. People prefer split AC more because of their dynamic room settings and requirement of air conditioning in non-window rooms.
There are tons of benefits of a Split AC, but there are few things you might want to consider while installing your split air conditioner-
Wall Strength-
The air conditioning part must be installed on a strong wall. A typical split AC indoor unit weighs about 13 kg so it needs a firm wall where 4 bolts are enough to hang the system perfectly.
The spacing of the Wall and AC
There should be enough space for the AC to breath and circulate the processed air all around the room. The standard area of 15 cm of open space is the minimum needed area for a proper air flow.
The installation Height
The AC must be mounted about 7 to 8 feet above the ground to experience its optimal performance and all-around cooling
Tilt Angle System-
During the installation make sure the angles are bolted with a slight tilt towards the pipe. This angle installation will help the water drain through the pipe easily. Hence, no water dribbling is ensured.
Location-
Location is the key to the AC’s life. Try to locate your indoor system at a place with no or little light for ensuring minimum heat damage. And install the outdoor system in an outdoor spacious location for better heat dissemination.
Placement of outdoor unit-
The outdoor unit must be installed on a flat surface. Outdoor unit contains the key components like compressor, condenser, and the fan motor, making it the backbone of your air conditioning system. If the outdoor system is not installed on a flat surface the vibrations produced from the machine may damage the insides of the ac like the coolant, compressor and the copper pipes.
Always buy your air conditioner from a good split AC dealer in Delhi NCR rather than a local dealer. At times they provide good discounts and extended warranty deals.
