7 Ways to Keep you Cool this Summer
So, the sweltering summers are here. Summer is a welcoming season for the people who wish to get up early, meditate and exercise, and also for those who enjoy ice creams and ice-cold beverages. But the one thing which makes everyone throw up in this season is the boiling temperature. The heat is so penetrating that everyone wishes to stay indoors, in the mornings and the intense afternoons. However, no matter how much you dodge, it is inevitable for you to hide indoors. Getting out and doing something is inevitable in all year no matter what season it is.
Not to worry we have 7 ways to keep you cool this summers-
- An air conditioner is your best friend during the high temperatures. An AC will suck in the hot air and replace it with a cool delightful breeze which will clam the boiling torture you endured outside. Air conditioning comes in numerous shapes and sizes. You can pick a window, split or a central air conditioning system. But to our recommendation, the best is intervened split AC systems which are both effective and efficient in every way.
- Early morning workouts are the best way to kick-start a hot day. Step outside when the sun is not up and feel the day, it might be the coolest temperature the day will offer. Do that and you will stay active the entire day.
- Give a good look at your clothes. Wear a moisture-wicking top, it will absorb the sweat from your body. When the fabric gets wet and the breeze kicks in you will feel a cooling sensation.
- Do not work in hot temperatures. If you are exposed to a lot of heat then you might be prone to constant headaches and worse strokes. First the sun’s smoldering heat then the elevated temperature at work is truly a cruel combination for your health.
- If you are an avid sports player you spend a great portion of your day outside. Its hard to play in the heavy heat but you have to, so to ease your condition take an ice-cold bath. An ice bath will take all your stress and cool down your core temperature.
- If there are no ice baths available use a cold towel instead. Just placing the cold towel on your neck and wrists brings your core a cooling effect. Keep clean towels in your fridge and freezer and use them whenever you are back from your training sessions.
And the most important stay hydrated. You need to drink a lot of liquid to get your body working. Here is a tip, drink some water every 15 minutes and you will stay refreshed all day long. Avoided caffeinated drinks like soda, cola, tea and coffee etc. they are detrimental to your hydration.
